Three Northwestern scientists will explore the connection between art and science at different exhibits around Chicago from Friday, May 7 through Sunday, August 22. Daniel E. Horton, professor in the Department of Earth and Planetary Sciences, Aaron Packman, professor in the McCormick School of Engineering, and Luis Schachner, a third-year graduate student in the Chemistry of Life Processes Institute, are all participating in this art exhibition.

The exhibition is titled “Third Coast Disrupted: Artists + Scientists on Climate” and includes 14 different artists and scientists. Located at the Brushwood Center at Ryerson Woods, the exhibit culminates a yearlong conversation between scientists and artists that centered on influences and solutions to climate change in the Chicagoland area.
