Professor Ben Antieau, of the Department of Mathematics, has been named a 2022 Fellow of the American Mathematical Society for his contributions to K-theory, algebraic geometry, and homotopy theory.
According to the American Mathematical Society’s website, the Fellows program recognizes members who have made outstanding contributions to the creation, exposition, advancement, communication, and utilization of mathematics. Antieau was recognized for his contributions to research on K-theory, algebraic geometry, and homotopy theory.
