Why did you choose Northwestern?
I chose Northwestern because of the endless opportunities the university provides and the many ways students are supported in their time at college and beyond. I really liked how flexible the curriculum is, and being on the quarter system lets you explore tons of classes outside your major. The school felt welcoming from the beginning, and it never felt like I was completely alone when trying to manage coursework, extracurriculars, and my personal life.
What is one of your favorite memories from Arch?
I really enjoyed spending the summer on campus during Bioscientist, where I was able to spend time with friends without the stress of classes and exams. Having a bunch of downtime meant we could take trips around Chicago to places like Chinatown, the museums downtown, the botanic gardens, the Garfield conservatory, Asia on Argyle, etc.
What is your favorite spot on campus?
Tech Atrium – peaceful place to study or sit around in the sunshine
What’s one piece of advice you would give to incoming students?
Take your time finding what you truly want to pursue and don’t forget to enjoy the experience.
