Professor Revelle served as president of the ISSID from 2005 to 2009 and is currently the Vice-Chair of the Governing Board of the Bulletin of the Atomic Scientists. At Northwestern he works with the Personality, Motivation and Cognition Laboratory to examine the interaction between personality and situational factors when determining motivational states. The goal with this research is to “develop a better understanding of how individual differences interact with situational moderators to affect efficient information processing.”
