Professor Anna Maree Parkinson awarded 2021-2022 Kaplan Center for the Humanities Fellowship

Anna Maree Parkinson, professor in the Department of German, has been awarded a Kaplan Center for the Humanities Fellowship for 2021-2022.

The Kaplan Center for the Humanities Fellowship, a part of the Alice Kaplan Institute for the Humanities, enables Northwestern faculty to pursue independent projects of significance to the humanities while immersed in an interdisciplinary community of scholars.

Professor Anna Parkinson was awarded this fellowship for research on Jewish Holocaust survivors and German-language authors in exile and their sons relationship to the postwar German-language canon (including works of Hans Keilson and H.G.
