Yevgenia Kozorovitskiy, Soretta and Henry Shapiro Research Professor of Molecular Biology, has been cited in a recent article for NPR “‘Anti-dopamine parenting’ can curb a kid’s craving for screens or sweets.'” In the article, Kozorovitskiy offers suggestions for how to revamp kid’s habits in realistic and purposeful ways, reducing the effects of strong dopamine surges from sugar and screen time.

Kozorovitskiy specializes in systems neuroscience; brain and behavior; developmental neuroscience; and cellular and molecular neuroscience, and her research lab focuses on two broad, inter-related themes: decoding neuromodulation and neural circuit design principles.
